Dozelimit: Constructions of the Highest Architecture

This Dozelimit album is a new field for Russian RAIG label since Igor hasn’t released this sort of experimental ambient/drone before. Dozelimit is a duo from Omsk, Russia, and before this they have released one EP that you can download for free. The band’s music is made with guitars and programming, and is peaceful and atmospheric in a nice way as well as quite minimal. The album includes seven untitled tracks and their lengths range from four to over eleven minutes. The guitars play occasionally also distinctive melodies like on the melancholic number “V” whereas the following track includes more distorted walls of sound and the last one almost goes to noise. The beginning of the album is more floating, at times pretty cosmic and psychedelic stuff. I know there is a fan base for this kind of experimental ambient music, and although this is not exactly for me I still like this album.
